In today's post, we will delve into a powerful and evocative piece aimed at walking you through the journey of emotional discipline from a spiritual perspective.
**********************
Why should you navigate your emotions effectively?
- Emotions can be misleading. However, if you submit to your spirit, having your overriding influence as God, you will be guided into the truth.
- To foster spiritual growth. If you live by the Spirit, you will have your mind set on what the Spirit desires (Romans 8:5-6).
- To help you unclog your mind, enabling you to think critically and hear God clearly and precisely.
- To help you develop a deeper sense of self-awareness.
Here is the biblical perspective:
- Psalm 42:11- Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet (Acknowledging emotions and seeking God’s help).
- 2 Corinthians 10:5- We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ (Taking control of thoughts and emotions).

Profound. Thank you very much, ma'am.
